The CCACA is an annual event promoting ceramic art.

CCACA stands for Ceramic Conference for the Advancement for Ceramic Art.

This year there where more than 40 colleges participating

Styles ranged from more traditional to incredibly eclectic. This particular piece mirrors early pop culture

Galleries all over downtown Davis were full of works from many talented artists

One of my personal favorite pieces, inspired by the anime show Attack on Titan

There was no limit to the creativity of these young artists

Unfortunately, this is inedible

Have a seat!

Hello??

A fine piece of work from our own Tuber, John Klaiber!

A very Merry Un-Birthday to you and you and You!

The dual-nature of humans and the need to prey or be preyed upon? A great piece nonetheless!

Who you looking’ at?

Talk about a fixer-upper!

Some of the wall-mounted pieces garnered the most interest from those attending.

Excuse me sir, I believe you dropped a few things…

Simple but striking

She must have a splitting headache

There was also plenty of simple pottery type pieces as well

Thats one sick piece!

40…in case you’re wondering. And 6 partial circles

…how did he thread the needle?

Good advice seeing as I saw a few people trip on a hard-to-see step in front of the giant head
